On an almost daily basis, the School of Law hosts distinguished
legal scholars, jurists and practitioners, who enrich the academic
life of the institution. In recent years, Supreme Court Justices
Stephen G. Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Anthony M. Kennedy, Antonin
Scalia, and Clarence Thomas have spoken at law school events.
Major symposia have been held on issues ranging from the
50th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education
to the complex legal issues surrounding the Enron scandal.
Members of the law school faculty are featured in the media as
expert commentators on intellectual property, securities, criminal
and labor law matters, among others. Questions and comments
regarding this website should be directed to the Office of Special
Events.
